The James I. Mason Memorial Award " Team Work Wins " Is in honor of a great Eagle. This award is to always remind us of the hard work that he did, and the dedication that James I. ( Jim ) Mason had throughout the years, serving his local aerie, state aerie and also the grand aerie. Jim served as Missouri State President in 1964 - 65, and as secretary for the Missouri State Aerie for many years. Through his term, the state aerie was able to obtain fraternal and financial success. Jim was installed as Grand Worthy President in Chicago, IL in 1981. Jim had many friends, not only in the State of Missouri, but across out great country and Canada. This award will be administered by the Missouri Past State President's Club. A Questionnaire will be sent to each of the Aeries and Auxiliaries in the State of Missouri. The questionnaire must be filled out by the Aerie Secretary and or the Auxiliary Secretary of each club and sent to the chairman of the Team Work Wins committee of the Past President's Club ( No later than April 1, of each year in order to qualify. The recipient will be decided at the annual meeting of the Missouri Past Presidents and will be awarded each year at the Missouri State Convention in June on the evening of the banquet.
